What Upsy processes and why.

Upsy does not require an account or run behavioral visitor analytics. A small amount of technical data is still processed to deliver, secure, and fund the site.

What Upsy does not collect

Upsy has no accounts, sign-up forms, client-side analytics, or session replay. It does not create advertising profiles, set first-party cookies, or save dashboard choices in local storage. Selected services are part of the dashboard URL.

Who is responsible

Upsy is the controller for the processing described on this page. Upsy does not sell personal data. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@upsy.sh.

Cloudflare hosting

Upsy runs on Cloudflare Workers and uses Cloudflare D1 for shared service status and history. Cloudflare processes request information such as IP addresses, traffic-routing data, system information, and related request and response metadata to deliver and protect the site.

Workers logs and traces are enabled for reliability and debugging. Cloudflare retains this operational data for seven days. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when an enabled security feature requires them. Read the Cloudflare privacy policy.

PostHog diagnostics

Upsy sends server errors, scheduled-task heartbeats, and final service-check failures to PostHog's EU service for reliability and debugging. Events may include a request method and path, a service ID, HTTP response details, failure information, and timing. Upsy does not send visitor IP addresses, cookies, query strings, or client-side identifiers to PostHog. Read the PostHog privacy policy.

Advertising

Upsy displays an ad supplied by Carbon Ads, a BuySellAds service. Loading the ad connects your browser to BuySellAds infrastructure. BuySellAds says its services may collect device and browser information, pages viewed, approximate location, and ad-serving cookies. Upsy does not receive a visitor profile from that data. Read the BuySellAds privacy policy.

Status data and retention

Service checks run on the server against official public status sources. Stored status results and history describe services, not visitors. If you email Upsy, your address and message are used to reply and kept only as long as needed for that conversation or a legal obligation.

Legal bases and international processing

Upsy processes essential request and operational data to deliver, secure, and debug the service. For visitors in the EEA, this processing is based on Upsy's legitimate interests in operating a reliable public service and on legal obligations where they apply. Upsy does not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.

Cloudflare, PostHog, and BuySellAds may process data in the countries described by their privacy policies. Those policies explain the safeguards and transfer mechanisms they use.

Your choices and rights

You may block third-party content or cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Send privacy requests to hello@upsy.sh.
